Got back from visiting Peter this morning. While the sight of your incredibly amazing cousin strapped to a bed is something no one should have to witness, he seemed fucking fine to me. Not crazy at all, just a little tired and more drugged than he wants to be.

Sorry if I don't understand what you all are on about because he seems exactly the same. I mean...I know how much you all love him, because if you didn't, you wouldn't talk about him so much. But I think you might be wrong about this one. Still...I guess we'll all know soon enough. He has all these psychiactric evaluations in a few days. Liz says she won't let them take him to a mental hospital, but these still have to go well or he might have to stay where he is longer.

I have faith in him. It'll be fine.

Pierre, you don't sound so good. And you're right, a person in the midst of a panic attack is a scary thing, but when you're trying to tell people you're sane and no one believes you....I'm sorry, I can't blame him for freaking out like he did.

If it helps, he said he only doesn't want you guys there because he doesn't want to have another panick attack. If he does, they can transfer him to a mental hospital without Liz's permission. Lydia and Anna are already about to start school without their father. It's not fair for them to be kept from him even longer. It's not personal.

Do you need me to come over? I can try to cheer you up?

Ah, I see. That does make sense. It still hurts, but I can see the reason that he has. I hope the people who he has still chosen to see can look after him.

You always cheer me up, Kat. I don't want being here to bring you down, though. I really would like to see you if it's okay. It's so nice of you to think of me at a time like this. How do you look after people so much?

Of course I'll come see you, Pierre. You can't drag me down, I'm incredibly buoyant. And I guess the looking after people thing is genetic, who knew!? I was inspired by Peter and his family and I'm trying to follow that example. Though you do make it pretty easy to want to be there for you since you're always there for everyone else.

We'll look after him. He'll be okay.
