I called Anna's school today after looking for the number for a goddamn hour on the internet. Anyway, I spoke with about 12 incompetent arseholes who didn't even know who I meant and then I finally got to speak to the person that runs the housing. She says she wasn't aware Anna was getting out but she'll keep an eye out. She alo said, and I quote: "You do have to realise, Miss Whitney, that we have over 100 girls staying here and we cannot watch every single one of them all the time."

Congratulations, you're a jackass!

I told her if anything happened, my Daddy would sue their school. Then I dropped his name. Of course...he's a defense attorney, but shhh.

Anyway, at least now they know and I threatened them! I guess now we'll just hope it gets results. OR that Peter wakes the frick up.

Also, Kali told me I should move in with her and Ethan and Justine. Uhm...is that a good idea or a trainwreck waiting to happen, because I love them both but I might...eat them or something. At least Liz knows what to say to shut me off when I'm raging.

It's a testament to how overly hasty this decision to send Anna away was that she's ended up in a such a sub-standard institution. I'm still quite happy to go down there myself and try to see firsthand what Anna is doing. If they can't take care of her, we certainly will.

I think Ethan and Kali's place sounds like a good home for you. They're lovely, supportive people, and they know by now exactly what to expect from your situation. You also seem to be handling it extremely well, all things considered. I don't think it's a bad idea at all, as long as Ethan and Justine agree as well. I don't really know anything about Justine, but I would think anyone living with Ethan and Kali would have to be an inherently kind and considerate individual, just as they are. It sounds like a good decision to me, Kat.

Thank you for doing that, Kat. At least now they know what is going on, and hopefully it will make some difference. I really hope that Peter does come to his senses soon, though. Then none of this will matter any more and it will all be good.

Supposedly it's one of the best prep schools in England. Anna's just wiley. And honestly, I don't know how much good it would do if you went down there. They might kind of wonder why a random man was talking about 8 year old girls that got out of their rooms at night. I suppose you could take Liz with you though. Just don't get arrested!

I know. I'm pleased too, Deirdre. I really, really am. We'll get there together. It was Aly who made the first breakthrough. She realised that trying to rationalise with him wouldn't help, because he's not in a rational frame of mind. Getting him to talk through his problems himself, and recognise the inconsistencies in what he's doing, is a much more effective approach.
