Hey, Tammface. I just wanted to say that today was better. I think the problem yesterday was just that I've been looking forward to my girls for so long and then all this other shite happened...and I sort of thought that when they came home, it'd make me feel 100% better. And it didn't, and of course it never could. But it was my light at the end of the tunnel and when I reached the end, I had my light, but that only lit it up halfway. Aly's still in that hospital and Robert's still dead and Bianca's still dead and just having my girls home doesn't fix all that. But it does make it better. I just had to realise that was enough.

And I wanted to tell you so you didn't worry your tits off that there was something seriously wrong and I'd be a headcase and try to kick it again. I won't do that again. Just so you know.

Oh and by the way, my daughters are the cutest things ever, but they do not sleep at the same time, and I haven't slept since I brought them home. I AM A ZOMBIE! But that just means I'm like Thomas ehhehehehee!

what you're sayin' makes a lot of sense. shite's happened in our lives ain't nothin' ever gonna change. we know not to go lookin' for quick fixes at the bottom of a bottle or whatever - or at least, not to do it all that often - but sometimes a thing looks like it really will be the way. i'm just really glad you see that your daughters really are as awesome as you always thought. that awesomeness can't fix the whole world, but it sure as hell makes it a better place. i'm glad you have 'em to light up your life, even if there are still shadows in the corners. sometimes, the shade'll just make the lights look all the brighter, yeah?

anyway... i know you ain't goin' down the dark road again. i seen you fight that off, and i know your win's for always. thanks for lettin' me know how things are, darlin'. i really appreciate it. you're always on my mind, so it's real good to know you're okay.
